Each assessment and treatment program is specifically designed to the person's individual needs. Dr. Sharma is aware that clients may be nervous about asking for psychological assistance. She works with compassion to put people at ease.


Dr. Sharma will explain treatment goals, anticipated time-frames and treatment costs in advance in order to make clients feel comfortable and secure. She will collaborate with their other medical specialists and treatment providers to ensure the best possible outcome. Assessment reports, treatment plans and progress reports are only released after patient review and consent. 


Self-pay clients who are not covered by insurance or agency funding are welcome to refer themselves to          Dr. Sharma Psychological Services.  Please contact our office at 905-232-0611 for information regarding current billing rates.​

Funding For Services


Please note that psychological services are not currently covered under OHIP.  However, there are several sources for either full or partial funding.  These include:


  • Coverage by workplace extended healthcare plans
  • Workers' Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) coverage for workplace injuries
  • Automobile insurance coverage for motor vehicle accident victims and family members
  • ​Lawyer-funded Medical-Legal assessments
  • Aboriginal Health Services
  • Veterans Affairs​
